Nerissa Warner O-Neill is a non Practicing Solicitor and CEDR accredited mediator.
Nerissa practiced for 5 years as a commercial litgator with Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP. She had a broad practice encompassing Financial, Logistical, Real Estate, Environmental and Chemical disputes. During her years in practice Nerissa took matters to trial in the Lands Tribunal, Technology & Contruction Court and the Commercial Court. However, Nerissa strongly believes that formal proceedings are a last resort and wherever possible worked to resolve disputes through Mediation. Nerissa was so impressed by the efficacy and efficiency of this method of dispute resolution that she decided to train as a mediator and concentrate on the provision of mediation services. Nerissa achieved accreditation fcrom CEDR in 2007.
Nerissa also represents the Ward of Frensham, Tilford & Dockenfield on Waverley Borough Council where she vice chairs one of the Oversight & Scrutiny Committees and has a particular interest in planning and community and social issues.
